The Generals defeat the Islanders 3-1

Jan 28, 2018

Nicholas Sesock came up big, stopping 25 of 26 shots throughout the game. The Northeast Generals took the lead early in the second on a goal from Tyler Rudek.

Tyler Rudek chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Braley opened the scoring for Northeast with a goal at 13:01 with helpers from teammates Faia and Hammel.

In the second period, Rudek deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 1:01. Figueroa put in a goal at 14:59 with an assist from his linemate Rudek.

In the third, Conway finally put Cape Cod on the board with a goal at 5:11 with helpers from St. Amand and Hinckley.

The Generals’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Sesock’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced. On the other hand, Sesock’s counterpart, Maki, and the Islanders’ defense did not have such a great night allowing 3 goals in 27 shots.

This win brings the Northeast Generals’ record to (25-10-2-0).
