The Generals crushed the Sharks 7-3

The Northeast Generals' offense had a big night, peppering the Long Beach Sharks with 68 shots throughout the game. The Northeast Generals took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Marc Faia and never looked back.

Marc Faia delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Fedor Lopaev had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Charlie Bedard chipped in with 2 goals and Ben Bergman contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Lopaev opened the scoring for the Generals with a goal at 0:44 with helpers from Hamel and Marcola. Bellew netted a goal at 4:00 with helpers from his teammates Piela and Lepage. O’dowd quickly followed with a goal at 4:05 with assists from Hamel and Whalen. Faia scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:40 with helpers from Whalen and Hamel. Shea netted a goal at 16:32 with assists from Toal and Kisielis.

In the second, Bergman finally put Long Beach on the board with a goal at 19:12 with helpers from his linemates, Carlock and Powell. Bedard quickly followed with a goal at 19:38 with an assist from Bergman.

During the third, Braley answered for the Generals with a goal at 1:12 with helpers from his linemates, Faia and Lopaev. Bedard answered for the Sharks with a goal at 5:20 with assists from Smith and Vlacich. Wilson answered for Northeast with a goal at 12:50 with a helper from Marcola.

The Generals’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Wagner as he stopped 17 of the 20 shots he faced. Wagner’s counterpart, Vutci, also had a big night, managing to stop 12 of 15, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Northeast Generals’ record to (16-6-2-0).
