Three year Northeast Generals goaltender John Driscoll has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at Providence College. John played 2 years with the NA3HL Generals posting a record of 26-8-1 with a save percentage of .917 and a 2.50 goals against average. John spent the 2020-21 season as the 3rd goalie for the NAHL Generals and the 21-22 season rehabbing from an injury.
“We are incredibly proud of John. An amazing kid who everyone just loves. Very good goalie that battled some injuries and has come out on the other side of it. John will be a great addition to the goalie room at Providence. He will earn everything he gets and never complain. We are so excited to watch John continue his journey down the street at Providence.” Said NA3HL GM Bryan Erikson.
John is the 2nd goalie from the NA3HL Generals to go straight to Division 1. Raphael Gaughan plays at UNH and will battle John in the prestigious Hockey East Conference.
