Moreover, the Northeast Generals' offense had a big night, peppering Maine with 52 shots throughout the game. The Northeast Generals took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Marc Faia.
Austin Braley delivered for his team with 2 goals and Thad Marcola contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Tyler Webb chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Nick Panfen did his part, adding 2 assists.

Faia quickly followed with a goal at 1:49 with helpers from teammates Hammel and Norrefjord. Decarolis finally put the Wild on the board with a goal at 6:07 with assists from Webb and Panfen.
In the second, Toal answered for Northeast with a goal at 5:46 with helpers from his linemates, Faia and Figueroa. Faia deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:57 with assists from Toal and Hammel. Lopaev scored a goal at 12:14 with helpers from his linemates, O’dowd and Marcola. Webb quickly followed with a goal at 13:04 with assists from Panfen and Ledbetter. Braley answered for the Generals with a goal at 18:02 with helpers from Faia and Fuller.
During the third period, Roberts answered for the Wild with a goal at 0:48 with assists from Mehall and Bannon. Braley answered for Northeast with a goal at 13:02 with helpers from his linemates, Faia and Lopaev.
The Generals’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Wagner as he stopped 20 of the 23 shots he faced. Wagner’s counterpart, Santarosa, also had a big night, managing to stop 28 of 30, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Northeast Generals’ record to (24-10-2-0).
